Amy Pope
Hi guys I am Amy,
I am 32 and from Cheltenham! I love climbing mountains, gardening, cooking and I recently started playing golf!
​
In January 2015 I became a single parent, my daughter was 6 months at the time, I weighed around 20 stone, I was suffering from depression and anxiety which I was struggling to manage. I desperately needed to turn my life around and didn't know where to start.
​
Through weight training, eating right, working hard and sheer determination I have dropped 4 dress sizes and dramatically improved my physical and mental health.
​
In August 2017 I set up Aptitude Fitness and have helped hundreds of women on their fitness journey. I train women of all shapes and sizes, all fitness levels, able bodied and those that may require additional physical support .
I am passionate about building fitness into a healthy, sustainable lifestyle and understand the impact on your confidence and mental health.

Sophie Peel
Hello, Sophie here!
I am a personal trainer and nutritional adviser from London, I have been based in Gloucestershire for the last 9 years.
My fitness career started as a competitive athlete. From National gymnast, to International Rugby player to horse rider. I have done it all! My passion for coaching came a little later in life as I was no longer a competitive athlete myself I became invested on helping others instead.

I have now been a trainer for 6 years and along the way have trained a wide variety of people. My clients needs have ranged from: weight loss, joint replacement rehab, sport specific fitness and muscle building/ strength development.
​
I have a true passion for helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. With my own training I change my approach frequently, ranging from running/hiking to body building, calisthenics and power lifting.

Pilates Instructor
Claire Dickson
Claire grew up in Cheltenham and moved back here in summer 2019, after 30 years living and teaching Pilates and gyrotonic in Hong Kong. Claire is a fully certified Pilates instructor and mentor with Polestar Pilates, and in Hong Kong she ran her own studio for 7 years.
She’s a very experienced teacher, and she’ll take good care of you whatever your level.

Pilates sessions available to book Wednesday 6pm fortnightly.
​
Places are limited to 12 and charged at £9.50 per 45 minute class.
You will need a yoga / exercise mat and access to Zoom.
​
All classes will be invoiced up front.

Sue Dorey
Sue has recently retired from a full time career working in education. She is now able to spend more time doing the things she enjoys, including running, fitness training and bootcamps, alongside a newly acquired love of playing golf
