I have been on a massive weightloss and fitness journey since I lost 18lbs in 11 weeks two years back. Since then I've incurred lots of injuries through running and OCR events and general health so my S&C fitness journey faltered. After one session with Amy I felt so amazing and confident in my long lost abilities to push myself. She is so enigmatic and positive about you and tells you how it is! I joined Amy’s bootcamp 7 months ago and I cannot recommend her enough! Before these sessions, I found every excuse not to exercise as I lacked confidence thinking I would never be able to do it. But Amy has completely changed this. She has worked with me to build my general fitness, strength and confidence. I have seen huge improvements in myself since joining bootcamp, as have my family/friends and this is down to Amy pushing me to work hard whilst also being supportive. I can’t imagine not having my weekly bootcamp session as part of my routine now! For somebody who really struggled to get motivated to exercise, I now look forward to working with Amy and the rest of the bootcamp ladies each week and for this I would highly recommend her sessions.
The bootcamps are great fun, a lovely group of people and there is nothing like exercising in the sun! It’s so much better being outside than in a sweaty gym! I’ve become a lot stronger and Amy keeps the sessions different so we never know what to expect!
Amy is a fabulous PT. Every session is different, we have a laugh and are pushed to reach our potential. I really like going to her sessions as unlike a lot of places I don't feel like I am being judged for not being a stereotypical 'gym goer' . The other people that are in the classes are brilliant too and it really feels like a friendly community. Fab job Amy!
Apititude Fitness helped me lose 3 stone and set me up to lose even more. My trainer is encouraging and very understanding. She varies up every sessions so it's never boring and helps support you with the healthy eating elements as well. Before I joined with Aptitude Fitness I was scared to go to the gym alone and didn't have a clue what to do there but now I know what exercises target what parts of my body and I have the confidence to do them!
I've been coming to Amy for a couple of months now and I'm am loving bootcamp which I never thought I would say ! My fitness has improved so much and I've also made some lovely friends through it. I highly recommend anyone looking to get fit and healthy and have a laugh while doing so to definitely come to Amy's bootcamps!
I would highly recommend joining the boot camps with Amy. Great workouts every week, always something different. I'm not the fittest person in the world and never thought I could do anything the other bootcampers can do but Amy is really supportive and doesn't push you beyond your limits. Every week I am finding I can do a little more, and am now looking forward to exercising. Other members are also really nice and will support you on when you're finding things tough. Amy is great, really knows her stuff and makes it fun. No matter your age, fitness level or size this is the definitely the way to go.
Women's Bootcamp with Amy is a well run, energetic bootcamp; friendly 1hr on Wednesday evenings. Just the escape I'm looking for midweek. Thoroughly recommend it.
Amy is a brilliant trainer. She pushes me whilst being aware of my limitations. Amy is energetic and makes the sessions fun and enjoyable.
I’ve always done some form of exercise in the past but in the last 2 years have been diagnosed with COPD (a degenerative lung disease) and so have struggled with being able to breathe as well as with my weight gain. Amy doesn’t treat me like I have an illness and still pushes me but is very mindful as to what I can and can’t do, I have been training in her ladies boot camp for about 5 months now and she has become more of a friend than a trainer. I also attended a 3 day fitness weekend away in September last year climbing Sugar Loaf Mountain !!!! Highly recommend Amy Pope - I will hopefully be with her for many years to come. Plus I’m doing another 3 day-fit camp this month and I’m nearly 60. If this young lady can do ALL of this for me - what can she do for YOU??
I loved boot camp � Amy is really welcoming, motivating and explains things well. Classes have people of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities and most importantly everyone has a good giggle along the way!
We’ve had about 6 sessions with Amy so far and we all love it! We have a private group hour session every week and god does she push us hard! I’ve had trainers in the past but I really feel like this training is making a difference to all our fitness levels and our bodies! Amy is fun and energetic and always up for a laugh and fits in with our personalities perfectly... literally feel like we’ve known her for years! She listens well to exactly what each of us want to achieve and trailers each session to work on different features. It’s a 5 star from me!
After finally being fit enough to run after many years off it I suffered a major set back overnight that meant even walking was impeded at times and running was impossible. Many weeks of physio was helping but I wanted faster results. I approached Amy and we had just 6 PT sessions where she help strengthen my weak areas to get me back to where I wanted to be. I knew that this was a big challenge and honestly didn't think it was achievable in the time frame. How wrong I was. By the 5th session I was back to running for short stints and after my last session this week I ran at bootcamp many times and even started sprinting. No pain. Confident and loving every second. Thanks Amy, the PT did what I wanted and I could not have asked for more!
When I went to my first Boot Camp I couldn’t run for more than a minute and had very poor upper-body strength. After 4 weeks I can run 3 times around the stadium and can push over a massive tyre on my own! Any is great. The right combination of funny and coaching. Love her! Can’t recommend her enough!
